Today our first responsibility is to the students' safety and fulfilment of their demands. However, at the same time we need to work towards a future where everyone will live with dignity. There is no other option but to continue our work as a learner, as an educator.
We were unable to continue all our classes because we felt that this is not the moment for learning. Now that the student movement has reached a stage of one-point-demand, we want to stay at home and resume of our works so that when we can keep some links with our remaining tasks.
Here are some instructions for the following groups. Some of you belong to more than one group and should prepare your works/tasks accordingly.
- US Admission Students: Please note that you need to start the Common Application (2024-2025) as that portal has been updated. Those who opened your account with the previous session, will be automatically sign in to the new edition.
- SAT preparation: It is important to remember that having high SAT score is crucial for good FINANCIAL aid. So, open your account with SAT's official test-site with Khan Academy. SAT applicants MUST also open account with Collegeboard.com
- IELTS preparation: Since IELTS is needed for both undergrad and postgrad, please make sure that you have strong band.
- GRE preparation (MS/PhD students): It is important to keep me updated with your GRE preparation. High GRE score will ensure student assistanceship, which covers almost full tuition for most universities. We need to start on three additional things:
- SOP writing based on individual University instructions
- Letters of References - three letters may be needed. One or two from your professors and one from your Workplace.
- Linkedin - must be updated and new posts may be added to your account. Be active.
- At least 2-3 papers should be uploaded on Academia.com.
- Postgrad students are strongly advised to open BLOG and add articles and short posts on different issues.
